Judy L. Burt, RN, is a licensed Registered Nurse, receiving her degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She worked at St. Luke's hospital prior to beginning a Master's program in Transcultural Nursing. She studied the medical beliefs of the Hmong and Lao peoples that were newly arrived in the US from Laos after the VietNam War.

After completing her course-work, Judy married Glenn, who was a medical student at the time, moving to San Antonio, Texas. She practiced in the newborn nursery for a time, then went into home health nursing. She served patients in their homes intermittently until she joined her husband in a General Practice clinic. In 2004 they opened Christian Family Practice Medical Clinic.

Judy recognized Jesus as savior during college. She received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1986. She has been intensely involved in ministry for the past 15 years. Mrs. Burt has been a team leader in children's ministry for many years. She has also counseled others on finances, and been on medical mission trips to Mexico. Judy and her daughter Amy were part of a mission team that went to India and England. She also went to Portugal with "Christian International Ministries". She is currently leading a women's Bible Study at "Living Well Faith Community", a Four Square Church in Wausau.
